Prior to joining ThinkForward in November 2018 Ashley was CEO of London Skills for Growth and Group Director (Apprenticeships), for the London South East College Group. She is an experienced leader who has held senior positions in the not for profit and education sectors for over 20 years. Passionate about transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people, she is experienced in leading high performing operations, driving organisational growth and improvement, fostering collaboration and engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholders. At Skills for Growth she successfully led a merger and acquisition.
Matt is an experienced senior leader within the social sector with an excellent track record of designing, delivering and monitoring innovative and high-impact services. Since joining ThinkForward in February 2018, he has led on standardising delivery approaches across the ThinkForward and MoveForward programmes, working with the delivery team to ensure high quality delivery, and improving systems and tracking. Prior to this, Matt worked at Resurgo Trust, and spent five years at City Gateway, working with young people excluded from the education system and facing multiple barriers to employment. He held a variety of leadership roles, including Vice Principal of City Gateway Alternative Provision School – the UK’s first Alternative Provision Free School.
Hannah is responsible for ThinkForward’s fundraising and communications and manages an income of £2.5m. Hannah previously worked in the Philanthropy team at Impetus and set-up ThinkForward’s fundraising and communications function when the charity became independent from Impetus in 2015. Since then she has diversified and grown philanthropic income and won significant bids from funders including Big Lottery, BBC Children in Need and the Mayor’s Fund. Prior to Impetus Hannah worked as a consultant advising UNICEF on the feasibility of growing international funding in Russia.
